Feminine birthday card with fun curly squares (FMS123)

I had time to play with the Freshly Made Sketch 123 challenge when I was off on Friday. Totally needed that creativity getaway!

When I first saw all those circles on the layout, I was thinking what size of circles should I use? So I went through my punches and die cut collection, and found the Petite Curly Label Punch I got last year. It’s a punch that I rarely use mainly because I can’t seem to find any images that would fit into them. I pulled out the Tiny Tags set I have (because it’s supposed to have the tiniest images!) and was glad that some of the images would actually fit. Also, the images combined to sort of pass for a birthday card.

I showed my mom the final product, and she was like it looks more like a wedding card. Yeah, I guess I agree these are quite wedding-y colours, but think it would also pass as a birthday card for a lovely girlfriend 🙂

All the curly squares were popped up using dimensional tapes.
