Serene Silhouette Christmas

Every year I tell myself I have to start making Christmas cards in July, but the truth is I never actually started that early šŸ˜¦ Now I really have to catch up as our Christmas craft fairs are coming up in less than 3 months! Super excited as both locations are brand new to us, meaning we will have brand new customers. Customers always give us feedback as well as what they want to see in the future, so it really helps us improve our products for the coming year. In case you don’t know what we sell in the craft fairs, my mom makes these adorable stuffed animals and Christmas ornaments using (brand new &Ā clean!) socks, and of courseĀ I am responsible for the handmade cards and some shadow frame decorations.

I really like the images in theĀ Serene Silhouettes stamp set used in this card, and am glad that it could be used for the Christmas occasion. I think the Peace on Earth sentiment that came from the Greetings of the Season stamp set was perfect for the image. The birds that were heat embossed in Cherry Cobbler really made them stand out from the card.

  1. This card is beautiful!!! Could you give a few more directions on how to heat emboss just the birds? You could just personal email me. Thank you…

    • Thank you for the kind comment, Jolene. What i did was i stamped the whole image in brown and used versamarker to “colour” in only the birds. That way the embossing powder would only go onto the birds. Hope this helps!
