Serene Silhouette Christmas

Every year I tell myself I have to start making Christmas cards in July, but the truth is I never actually started that early 😦 Now I really have to catch up as our Christmas craft fairs are coming up in less than 3 months! Super excited as both locations are brand new to us, meaning we will have brand new customers. Customers always give us feedback as well as what they want to see in the future, so it really helps us improve our products for the coming year. In case you don’t know what we sell in the craft fairs, my mom makes these adorable stuffed animals and Christmas ornaments using (brand new & clean!) socks, and of course I am responsible for the handmade cards and some shadow frame decorations.

I really like the images in the Serene Silhouettes stamp set used in this card, and am glad that it could be used for the Christmas occasion. I think the Peace on Earth sentiment that came from the Greetings of the Season stamp set was perfect for the image. The birds that were heat embossed in Cherry Cobbler really made them stand out from the card.

Sweetest Baby

It’s been over a month since I last updated, but I’d like to think that I have a good excuse. My hubby and I were in Paris for a week. We had a wonderful time, lots of sightseeing and delicious food, although I caught a cold half way through our trip under the 30+ degree weather. My cold didn’t affect my mood in enjoying Paris at all, and I was better as soon as we got back. Thanks to the beautiful weather in Vancouver 🙂

No one had a new baby recently, just felt like making a baby card after playing with my friend’s little guy on Sunday 🙂 And plus I really want to open this new stamp set I bought recently from the new catalogue called Sweetest Gift. It’s got adorable images. Hope you enjoy!
