A For You card made for any occasion

Silhouette1Spring is here (ya, kind of…), so I made a card using a spring-y image. The FOR YOU sentiment is definitely the most versatile of all. You really can use it for almost any occasion, be it a birthday, thank you, congrats, mother’s day, etc. This card was also submitted as an entry to the PPA 157 Sketch Challenge.

  • I almost never completed a card without using an embossing folder. Again, here I used one of my favorites – the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.
  • The Oval Framelit was so handy. You just have to stamp, run it through the Big Shot, and you are all ready to adhere the perfectly cropped image piece to the card.
  • I needed some smaller butterflies, so I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslits to cut two of those. They came out embossed and cut, super easy!
  • A little embellishment often goes a long way, just like the mini Basic Pearl Jewel I added to the centre of the butterfly.
