Secret Garden Birthday

Here it is! Another birthday card made using my spring catalogue new toys! The card was also entered for the PPA 153 Sketch Challenge.

  • The Framelits that coordinate with the Secret Garden stamp set are the best thing ever. They saved me a ton of time in cutting out all those flower images. Now you buy the stamp set and the coordinating Framelits as a bundle and save 15%!
  • For the main flower image, I also hand cut the middle layers and popped them up on Stampin’ Dimensionals to create a 3D effect.
  • A Basic Pearl was added as a finishing to the flower.

  • The Whisper White background was dry embossed using the Vine Street Embossing Folder, and the sentiment came from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set. Remember you could still get both of these free by spending CDN$60 or more on any Stampin’ Up! products. There isn’t any upper limit, so if you spend $120 or more you can get them both!

Birthday card… more to come!

Had a friend over to craft together yesterday. It’s always nice to craft with a friend because we get to catch up and be productive at the same time! 🙂

I almost ran out of birthday cards, so decided to make some these days to at least have several of them handy.

  • I pierced around the cut out from the Apothecary Accents Framelit using the Essentials Paper Piercing Pack. Glad that the framelits and the Piercing pack coordinate with each other. I feel like the piercing “wakes up” the cut out. Love the look!
