Craft Fair at Steveston Community Centre

After indulging myself in all the delicious food in Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei, and doing the amount of walking I would have done in two years in Vancouver, I finally got back from my trip last Friday!

I came down with a cold along with my jet-lag, so was completely exhausted in the past week, but here I am now, excited as always preparing for tomorrow (today)’s craft fair at Steveston Community Centre. Our sock animals and cards are all ready to go to other people’s homes for the holiday season. Come by to visit if you are around the area! We will be at 4111 Moncton Street, Richmond, BC from 10am to 4pm.

Yep, we are quite serious about it this time. We got all our business cards printed. Yay!

The most lovely gift for babies – a handmade Sock Monkey and a coordinating Stampin’ Up! card

Hi everyone, I promised to share one more project before I leave on my trip when I will have very limited access to the internet 😦 But anyway, here we go! Part of the gift that I am going to give to my friend who just had a baby girl in the summer is this Sock Monkey and the coordinating Sock Monkey card.

The Sock Monkey Stampin’ Up! stamp set I used to create this card is retired already, but I have to keep using it because I love making cards that coordinate with our handmade sock animals. If you are interested in giving such adorable sock animals + coordinating handmade cards to people for their new babies, birthdays, weddings, even Christmas, and many more occasions that you can think of, please feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to work with you on what you need. I will continue posting more about our sock animals, and just a little safety note about our animals, we can reinforce any sewn-on parts, for example the eyes, to ensure that they are child-proof.

Below is another Sock Monkey card I made for Christmas. Don’t you love that masculine monkey? 🙂
